The legal stuff,
in actual English.
We wrote this to be read, not scrolled past. Each section opens with a plain-English summary in italics; the binding details follow. Questions are welcome any time.
Who we are, and who we aren’t
Plain English: Lionesse coordinates. Your provider practices medicine. Those are different jobs. The Lionesse Protocol is operated by Lionesse Holdings, Inc. (DBA Lionesse Protocol). We provide concierge coordination, administrative support, and educational content related to women’s hormone health. We are not a medical practice, laboratory, or pharmacy, and we do not practice medicine, provide medical advice, or make any clinical decisions.
All medical services — including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment decisions — are provided by independent licensed healthcare providers exercising their own clinical judgment. All prescriptions are filled by independent licensed U.S. pharmacies. Your relationship for medical care is with your provider, not with Lionesse. Enrollment does not guarantee a prescription; medication is prescribed only when an independent licensed provider determines it is medically appropriate.
Educational content on this site, in our emails, and on our social channels is for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a licensed provider.
Membership terms
Plain English: memberships renew until you cancel, the monthly plan has a three-month minimum, and you’ll always see the price before you’re charged.- Monthly: $395 per month, billed monthly, with a three-month minimum commitment.
- Seasonal: $1,047 billed once per season (every three months).
- Annual: $2,940 billed once per year.
Memberships renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the Monthly plan may be cancelled after its three-month minimum is complete. Each plan includes laboratory work as described at enrollment, telehealth visits with independent licensed providers up to four times per year, prescribed medications when determined medically appropriate, and shipping. Additional laboratory work is available at member pricing. HSA/FSA funds may apply; check with your plan administrator.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Refund requests and billing questions can be raised with the concierge team at any time; refunds are handled according to the refund policy provided at checkout.
Telehealth disclosure
Plain English: your visits happen online, with real licensed clinicians, and telehealth has some limits worth knowing.Medical services connected with the Lionesse Protocol are delivered via telehealth by independent licensed healthcare providers. By enrolling, you consent to receive care via telehealth technologies, including video visits and secure messaging through your patient portal.
Telehealth has limitations. It is not appropriate for emergencies — if you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. A provider may determine that telehealth is not appropriate for your situation and may recommend in-person evaluation. You may withdraw consent to telehealth at any time, which may affect the services available to you. Availability of telehealth services depends on provider licensure in your state.
Hormone therapy risks & disclosures
Plain English: hormone therapy has real benefits and real risks, they differ person to person, and the full conversation happens with your provider.Hormone therapy is prescription medical treatment. Its potential benefits and risks vary by medication, dose, route of administration, duration of use, and your individual health history. Depending on the therapy prescribed, potential risks may include, among others, cardiovascular events, blood clots, stroke, gallbladder disease, and considerations related to hormone-sensitive cancers. Some risks differ based on age, time since menopause, and personal and family medical history.
Your independent licensed provider will review your labs, symptoms, and history, discuss the potential benefits and risks applicable to you, and determine whether hormone therapy — and which formulation — is medically appropriate. Report new or concerning symptoms to your provider promptly. Nothing on this site is a promise of any particular result; individual results vary.
About compounded medications: some prescribed medications may be prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies when your provider determines a compounded formulation is appropriate. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing.

Plain English: your health information lives with your provider and pharmacy under their legal obligations. We don’t sell your information. Period.Lionesse collects the information needed to provide coordination services — contact details, membership and billing information, and communications with our team. We do not sell personal information.
Your medical records are created and maintained by the independent licensed providers, laboratories, and pharmacies involved in your care. Those entities are responsible for protecting your health information in accordance with applicable law, including HIPAA where it applies to them. Communications you send through your patient portal are handled within that portal’s secure environment.
The full privacy policy, including your rights regarding access, correction, and deletion of your information, is available at checkout and on request from the concierge team.
